To update the maps on the Garmin StreetPilot i2, users typically need to connect the device to a computer using a USB cable. Once connected, the device should be recognized by the computer, allowing users to access the necessary software for map updates. Users may need to download specific update files and transfer them to the device's internal memory or an SD card, depending on the available storage. Following the instructions provided with the update files is crucial to ensure a successful installation and to avoid any potential issues during the update process.
The Garmin StreetPilot i2 offers basic route guidance features, allowing users to navigate efficiently. While it may not have advanced functionalities found in newer models, it can still provide turn-by-turn directions for various routes.
